Prabal Gurung's exploration of impermanence during New York Fashion Week This season, Prabal Gurung was contemplating a lot. For a fashion week show Friday highlighting the Buddhist notion of "anichya," or impermanence, he constructed a mirrored square runway mirroring an extravagant blue light display at the New York Public Library's main branch.
